I flew to Nashville on Sunday, April 3rd, the night after Lynn Hart and Danny's Sack's wedding at the "Newberry Library.":http://newberry.org I was up late working and tired when I got onto the plane but after arriving in Nashville was energized by the wedding consultants there to learn and exchange tips and ideas. My presentation was in the afternoon right after lunch. I handed out cookies (provided by my friend Michael Meuer at "Blue Plate Weddings":http://blueplateweddings.com, to all those present with my business card attached to the cookie so they were able to reach me if they had any additional questions. The presentation was titled, "All You Need To Know About Contracts and Why" and I had about an hour and a half to present. All the coordinators had many questions about their own contracts, vendor contracts and the questions about liability business insurance. We even had fun sharing funny stories from our past weddings. In the afternoon, we were able to go on a great tour of the Riverwood Mansion, "Riverwood Mansion":http://riverwoodMansion.com a popular site to host wedding receptions in Nashville. The conference was a great time to mix and mingle and network with other wedding planners and I came home on Tuesday night full of new ideas and rejuvenated for the wedding season that is upon us!
