Yesterday was one of those fun days and I got to get out of the office and attendLuscious Layers Open House and eat cake and sweets! Ashley moved to a storefront in Chicago in the Bucktown neighborhood in August of 2009 and has been baking up masterpiece cakes for weddings, showers, birthday parties and anniversaries.
The shop looked so cute with a cool "art wall" of wedding cake designs showing of all that they can do in cake design. Cakes range from $4.50 to $9.00 per person depending on your design. Ashley will sit down with you, offer you four cake selections of your choosing and sketch and draw our your wedding cake design. Come with pictures for inspiration, a picture of your wedding dress or even pictures of your wedding flowers and she will design the cake based on your wedding. Your Chicago wedding will be perfect with a fun and yummy cake from Luscious Layers.
She also does fantastic sweets for a sweets table that you can display at your wedding or shower. Some of the best macaroons I have ever had!
