As many of my followers know, I am a seven time attendee of the Engage!11, a luxury wedding business summit produced by Rebecca Grinnals and Kathryn Arce of Engaging Concepts. I met these two women attending my first conference way back in 2008 and it has forever changed my business and my life. So much more than a conference, it is an experience of amazing learning seminars, great networking and gorgeous parties and details to feast the eyes and provide inspiration to the best of the best in the wedding industry.

The business connections and friendships I have made over the years from attending and speaking at Engage! have been monumental into changing and tweaking the ways I do business for the better. I feel refreshed, challenged and totally uplifted when I come home from the conference. I actually got teary when I was leaving the Grand Del Mar, the location of the conference in San Diego. And not because I was going to miss the chocolate covered oreos they put on my bed each night, but because I am coming home with a refreshed vision of how I want my business to move forward and how I want my life (outside of my business) to gain some momentum. (more about that in another Engage!11 blog post).

Why do I call this post "Part 1"? Well it is because there is no way in one post I would be able to show you all the fabulousness of Engage!. So over the next week or so please check back often to see the gorgeous pictures taken by Mel Barlowand the amazing videos by Cloud Nine Creative.
