I am so excited to introduce you to Kate Molter, Engaging Events new wedding planning assistant. I receive lots of resumes and emails from people inquiring about jobs but something really stood out in Kate's resume and her emails to me. Once I met her, I knew instantly I wanted this amazing woman on my team. I can go on an on about her and how great she is, but will let Kate tell you a little bit more about herself!

I am from Fort Wayne, Indiana and have spent the last four years making amazing memories at Purdue University in West Lafayette, Indiana. I finished with a degree in Communication and Psychology, and decided to move to Chicago after graduation with two of my sorority sisters. Everything has fallen perfectly into place ever since!"

When I first moved to Chicago I was working a first job, where I found myself spending hours daydreaming about the glamorous, big city life I’d always seen for myself. One day, during one of my happy fantasies, it hit me that I simply HAD to work my way into the wedding and event industry. It was a thought that had never occurred to me before, but it was so clear and exciting that I went home and immediately found Ali online and sent her my resume. As fate would have it, Ali was looking for a new assistant at that exact time and one week later I found myself sitting in front of her for an interview! It was absolutely a dream come true to find this new life laid out in front of me."
