I am a Chicago girl, born and raised. I graduated from DePaul University right here in Lincoln Park. Nothing tastes better to me than a Chicago-Style Hot Dog to me. And why not embrace your hometown and where your wedding is being celebrated than having Chicago-Style Hot Dogs at your Chicago wedding? Pass them at cocktail hour or maybe you have a station of them later in the evening or passed in the cardboard boxes later on the dance floor. Feel that the whole dogs are too big? Do a mini version passed by the servers around 11:30pm when people need a quick snack to keep them going on the dance floor. Or, what about having a traditional cart come in to offer it to guests as they depart? Carts of Chicago can offer this service to you at your wedding.
What incredible pictures by Jeremy Bustos at Studio This Is. Here is a sneak peak he sent from from last Saturday's wedding at the Museum of Contemporary Art and Fourth Presbyterian Church. More to come! Enjoy
"Ali Phillips did an amazing job at helping us plan the wedding of our dreams!!! On the actual day of our wedding, we had nothing to worry about and could just enjoy each other during this special occassion. When it comes to planning, Ali is very efficient, calm, detail oriented and gave us honest and TRUE advice on what vendors to hire for our wedding. Ali also is extremely creative and helped us create the most beautiful old hollywood glamour wedding. In my opinion, Ali Phillips is the best wedding planner in the city and my husband Mark and I were very lucky to have her as our wedding planner!!!"
I adored my bride Alyssa last Saturday. She and Jeff got married at Newberry Library. Stay tuned for pictures of their amazing wedding which I will post next week. You HAVE to see her bridal shoes. (Think Carrie in Sex in the City Movie).
I LOVED this wedding that Belen from Gerber and Scarpelli shot for me on July 19th! What a fun group and WHAT a party!
Shelby and Doug were married on October 20th, 2008, at Parkview Lutheran church, an adorable little church which is actually in my own neighborhood! Their reception at A New Leaf was a blast for their guests! Their guests enjoyed a wonderful dinner upstairs in the apartment and danced until the wee hours of the morning.
I am excited, pleased and flattered to announce that Abby Larson of Style Me Pretty has chosen me to take part in her Little Black Book of vendors in Chicago for the event planner category! The Little Black Book is Abby's "one stop source for the best wedding vendors in your city" and I am so pleased I was picked to take part in this website!
