We love movies about love! The new movie, premiering this week is The Vow. Filmed in Chicago, this movie with Chatum Tanning and Rachel McAdams is a story of a newlywed couple who is recovering from a car accident that puts the wife in a coma. Waking up with severe memory loss, her husband endeavors to win her heart again.
There was a little snow on the ground this morning and I can't say that I was not a little excited. The Holidays are upon us and I just love this time of year.
Looking to recommend a fun thing to do for your weddings guests in Chicago on wedding down-time? I love the Untouchables Tour! Chicago is rich in history in the 1920's and 1930's for it's gangsters and jazz-area! Cruise around in an old school bus with tour guides dressed the part. The price is $30 per person and the tour lasts about 2 hours. Want to organize a fun and different outing for all of your wedding guests? You can book private tours as well
For Chicago weddings, we like to recommend some great activites that the brides and grooms can do with their guests or even recommend to their guests for when they are visiting Chicago. One of my favorite things to do in Chicago is the Architectural River Cruise. This cruise takes you on Chicago's First Lady and you see over 50 buildings in Chicago. The guides are well versed in the history of Chicago architecture and will provide you with many wonderful details about how this great city was built. The cruise would be a great pre-wedding activity where anyone could attend the day before the wedding or maybe even great for a post-wedding event the day after the wedding. There is a full service bar on the boat and small snacks. You can toast your guests as you see Chicago from the river and learn more about the great city you are wedding married in.
