There is a new car company in town and it is making lives way easier! Uber was launched six months ago in Chicago and people are loving using it. It will be great on the weekend of your wedding if you need a quick pick up for one to four people when leaving your hair salon and going back to the hotel or for parent’s who rode with you to the ceremony site but now need a ride back to the hotel or reception. I "Fell in Love with Indy" last week when my assistant, Kristin Weis, (seen above in the picture) and I attended the Association of Bridal Consultants Annual Business of Brides Conference. This is my sixth annual conference I have attended and was excited when they decided to host it in the Midwest this year. The Indianapolis wedding planners from ABC did a great job planning this event and event greater that they ordered up 60 degree weather in November! There were 40 wedding planner attendees from Chicago as well so it was so fun to spend time with people from my hometown.

Ali Attend Association of Bridal Consultants Annual Convention
I recently traveled to Colorado Springs, Colorado, for the Association of Bridal Consultants Annual Conference. It was the 25th year anniversary of the conference and it was a wonderful couple days of education and entertainment. It was held at the Five Star, "Broadmoor Resort":http://broadmoor.com in Colorado Springs.

Ali gave us the best wedding present: peace of mind. We were so confident she would take care of the details. Jeff and I were able to focus on the most important thing – getting married.
We sailed through the entire weekend, happy and carefree, knowing we had someone who cared about the success of our wedding as much as we did. And our carefree attitude was infectious; our guests caught the bug and partied well into the night. The wedding was flawless – like a wonderful dream we all shared together – I hope we can hold on to that feeling always. Words cannot express properly the fondness we feel towards Ali. She was a friend through the entire process, shared with us the most important day of our lives and forever carved out a place for herself in our family. Thanks again Ali for everything! Color and music took precedence at Monica and David's wedding at "Newberry Library.":http://newberry.org The Mariachis serenaded Monica down the grand staircase in the lobby for the ceremony. Now THAT is a way to make an entrance!!!
And they chose to make an grand exit too! We handed out sparklers to their guests to light as they departed their reception in a horse and carriage!

Leslie and Tyson Cornell
Leslie and Tyson Cornell's wedding was a windy and warm summer day at the Harold Washington Library in Chicago. The library looked beautiful as the sun set and the twinkle on the 400 votives lit around the library started to shimmer. Leslie loved pink and orange flowers and even picked out a pink wedding cake. The guests dined on filet mignon andrelaxed to a flamenco guitar during dinner. They later rocked the night away to the tunes of the Jeff Stitely Orchestra!
